Overview

The total duration of the degree programme is two years. The first year (Levels 4 and 5) is completed at UKCOLLEGEONLINE (UCO). The second year (Level 6) is completed through a partnering university. At the end of the second year students get their degree.

The programme is designed for those who would like to get a British BA degree to develop their skills for a successful career in Health and Social Care sector.

UCO is certified by Qualifi, a recognised UK awarding organisation regulated in England by the govermentʼs Office of Qualifications and Examination Regulation (Ofqual).

UCO partners with a wide range of universities and gives its students full academic support during their entire education until they obtain a British degree.

The Level 4 and 5 Health and Social Care programme is the equivalent to the first and second years of a university Bachelorʼs Degree Programme. This provides 240 credits which are recognised by universities and enjoy a good reputation in the job market. Upon completion of the UCO programme, students can complete their degree in just 12 additional months.

Upon completion of each course the students are assessed by online quizzes, assignments and coursework.

The final part of the programme will be completed through partnering universities. Students
choose to complete their programme online or on a university campus.

Fully Online Option A: With this study method students study online anytime, anywhere that is suitable for them through the Learning Management System (LMS) Portal.

On-Campus Option B: With this study method students complete their degrees on the campus of any partnering university. Students who prefer to complete the degree on campus will need to take the IELTS exam.

Students who prefer on-campus education are permitted to work part-time during the year. This will bring experience to the students while helping with living expenses. Also, university dormitories are open to these students.
